The fourth quarter of each year is the best time for the installation of PV plants, and also the peak of inverter delivery, which is the core equipment of the plant. Whether it can pass the examination of grid-connection or not can determine all electric generation prices of the plant in the future, and plays a fatal role in the success of the investment and the profitability.

Vice president of Sunpower said," after the National day, the focus of the entire PV industry is delivery. Under such fierce atmosphere in Solar PV industry, some customers went to our company to track the delivery of their orders and left with satisfaction when the products finished the inspection and loaded. And some customers still suspected the delivery capacity of their original suppliers, and temporarily asked SunPower to add orders. We made a detailed evaluation and contacted with the component suppliers so as to meet the demands of our customers. In November, even though we had a heavy delivery task, we prepared it in advance and improved our capacity.
We successfully completed all deliveries and ensured the process for our customers."
The delivery capacity and the scale effect are one of the key factors for PV plant manufacturers to choose suppliers. After the great investment, short construction period, high sensitivity of policies, time for capital and financing cost, and even the examination submission of grid-connection, the rest is construction and delivery.
Enlarged to 10GW installation capacity in china’s market, concentrated equipment delivery is the integrated examination of production ability, purchasing power and inspection for suppliers, which will also determine the profitability for manufacturers. Limited by inspection and the tight short-term component supply, single production delivery is a risk for plant manufacturers based on the examination of grid-connection and long-term stability. The high quality production, purchasing and inspection will further improve product standardized level and efficiency, which is a guarantee for the timely delivery and stable quality for PV plants.
